Community Impact

Livesfirst,league tableslater.

Our work is focused on creating meaningful opportunities for young people and families. Sport is how we get there, not the end in itself.

What we work toward

Sport thatchangesthings.

We believe sport and community engagement can positively change lives and create long-term impact. The list below isn’t aspirational marketing; it’s how we evaluate our work.

Supporting young people in their day-to-day lives
Encouraging healthier lifestyles and habits
Promoting inclusion across ability and background
Building confidence that travels off the pitch
Strengthening community connections
Creating positive environments for growth
Areas of work

Sixdirectionsof impact.

Each programme touches more than one of these. Together, they describe the shape of community impact at Youth Foundation Academy.

Increase youth engagement

We design programmes young people actually want to turn up to, not ones they’re told they should.

Support wellbeing

Coaches are trained to spot what’s really going on. Wellbeing is part of the session, not separate from it.

Promote inclusion

Every young person, every ability, every background. Inclusion is structural, not decorative.

Encourage healthier lifestyles

Movement, nutrition, rest and recovery taught honestly. Long-term habits, not Instagram challenges.

Strengthen community

We’re part of North London. Programmes are built with local families, schools and partners.

Create positive environments

Safe, structured, ambitious. Young people leave with the standard they were held to.
